All of us at The Rocky McElhaney Law Firm are proud of the boss. Rocky McElhaney was inducted into the Nashville Bar Foundation’s Fellows Program on March 12, 2016. Membership in this organization represents less than 4% of the licensed attorneys in the state; it is a true testament to Rocky’s passion and quality of work that we see every day.
The Nashville Bar Foundation
The mission of the Nashville Bar Foundation is one that Rocky upholds in all of his endeavors. From their website:
“The mission of the Nashville Bar Foundation is to support and expand the provision of law-related educational and charitable programs and services that promote the knowledge, understanding, and respect for the law among students, the general public, and the legal community; to preserve the honor and integrity of the legal profession; to foster collegiality among members of the legal profession; and to improve the administration of justice throughout the greater Nashville area.”
The National Bar Foundation established the Fellows Program in 1991 to honor colleagues who have made significant contributions to their community. Fellows are selected by their colleagues; it is tremendously gratifying to everyone here that Rocky’s efforts are worthy of note to his peers.
Becoming a Fellow requires years of hard work and dedication. To qualify for this honor, an attorney must have:
- “Demonstrated an uncompromised dedication to integrity and high personal and professional ethical standards;
- Made outstanding and recognized contributions to the legal profession and to the public good;
- Demonstrated a strong commitment to the published objectives and purposes of the Tennessee Bar Foundation.”
We know that Rocky McElhaney meets these criteria because we work with him every day. He works tirelessly to provide every person who walks through his door with the respect and results he or she deserves. Rocky gets results that speak for his efforts, and he has assembled a team that works hard because he inspires us with his dedication and motivation every day. Congratulations, Rocky!
